The aspect controls will be used to set the zoom ratio on both the X and Y axis’s. If the aspect controls are not touched then the ratio will be set to 1:1. You will be able to move the mouse over the graph and select where the center of the graph will be. The default setting for the center is the origin so if the graph should be centered at the origin then this control doesn’t need to be used.

Once these two controls have been set, or the defaults are used, you can then use the zoom control. The zoom control "thumb" is in the middle so the graph can be in zoomed in and out.

The "Random Point" button can be used at anytime during the session. When this button is pressed the graph window will be cleared and three random points will be graphed on the graphing window. You can then use the coefficient scroll bars or the equation itself to find the equation that fits the points. If you cannot find the answer or want to check the answer then the "Answer" button can be pressed. Once this button is pressed the correct equation will be displayed in both graphical and equation form.
